Dark designs score extra points. Great typography that isn't from Google Fonts or Typekit scores extra points.
Any sloppiness automatically disqualifies you. Buttons with the text not centered, round buttons next to a rectangular inputs, hard-to-read text on an image background, etc. you're automatically disqualified. And please don't send me anything that uses Proxima Nova.
